This is the 4th year we have stayed at Breakers East. The location is excellent with it being easy to get to wherever you’d ;like to go. Of the 4 units we have stayed in this one was disappointing. Some might describe it as “shabby chic” but we would describe it as very worn and in need of updating - especially the furniture. There were also many nicks in the paint and woodwork. That being said, the kitchen was very well equipped with anything you might need. With the exception of the refrigerator the appliances were excellent. The refrigerator needs to be replaced. My only issue with the kitchen was that there was no place to store grocery items as there has been in the other units we have stayed in. I think if you’re wanting a short stay in the summer the unit would be acceptable but if you’re looking for long term I would look at other units.

I must say you couldn’t ask for a better management company than Your Assistant at the Beach. They are very attentive to any issues you might have. A call with a problem is dealt with immediately. And they are very friendly people. We will return to Breakers East next winter but definitely not in this unit.

Breakers East is in a great location and the property is well maintained. We enjoy that building is a little smaller and has easy access to the beach. Unit 106 was clean and had everything we needed for our stay.

The condo was just as it described. I loved that it had its own covered parking and was easy to access from the room. Plenty of room in this condo. The only issue was with the beach chair service. They try to act like they own the beach when the beach is public up to the high tide line. You are allowed to sit your personal chairs in front of the beach service as long as you are on the public beach area.

We did a Monday-Saturday stay and enjoyed every minute of it. The condo is as described. The beds were super comfortable (so much so that we peeled back the fitted sheet to see what kind of mattress it was so we can buy one for home lol). The condo was plenty big for all 6 of us. The huge balcony was great for relaxing and air drying all your beach stuff. There were a few things I wish the kitchen had, but they didn't, but it wasn't a huge deal.

This condo was perfect for my family of 8. Oceanfront with easy access to the beach. The property was clean and spacious. The location is perfect and near restaurants & activities. I would definitely stay again in the future.

Pictures do it justice, which is not alway the case. Family and of 7, just have perfect. Lots of room to spread out and not feel like you are on top of each other. Location to beach - perfect. Littles of 1,3,8 so proximity to beach and pool - perfect.

Condo is well equipped, everything we needed; comfy, clean.

Staff was very responsive and handled anything that we needed.

Hope to be back and wouldn’t change a thing!

Loved being on the lower floor right next to the steps, which took us to the covered parking. Loved the unit and it was very clean. Customer service was very helpful when I had a question. Yes, I would recommend this unit!

We loved our stay. Everything is very convenient to #106. Beach, parking, pool and restaurants. Amazing area. Unfortunately they were jackhammering directly under our condo for a day. So we went for a drive. Also the twin beds were a bit tired n lumpy place needs a little maintenance, most of the knobs need tightening on almost every handle in the place. But we will be back for sure

This was a wonderful condo unit and very spacious and clean. We had plenty of room for our family. Covered parking space was right next to the stairs and the unit is on first floor which makes going to and from the unit very easy. The beach is amazing and not over crowded like the public beaches are. Very nice with the 2 chairs and umbrella down at the beach included with the room. We only had to carry down a few things with us to the beach. The overall location is great too. Within walking distance of many chain restaurants and places. If you drive to places, just be aware that there’s tons of traffic and can take some time getting around.

This was a great place to stay and it was close for me to take my family members to their fishing trip. The condo was very nice and had everything we needed including a great view!

Condo was clean and ready upon our arrival. Owner provided all the essentials we needed to have a relaxing and stress-free stay. The view from the balcony was just amazing. We enjoyed having our coffee while looking at the ocean. The location of condo is great too; right in the heart of Destin and close to many restaurants and stores. We even took the family to the big kahuna water park for the day which is walking distance from the condo. Overall, very happy with our stay and we look forward to coming back soon!

everything was fine we have stayed there before ,I think it makes you look cheap that you would charge someone who travels to stay at your resort a fee for early arrival to get into the condo just makes you look money hungry and welling to do anything to make a buck shame on you all

The condo is very large and roomy.....and the covered parking was a giant plus. We absolutely loved the view from the condo ...... could not ask for a better one. We had a couple of issues but they were addressed very quickly by experienced and friendly staff. Good stay ... will come again.

Condo was very comfortable and spacious with a nice size balcony. The covered parking that goes with this unit was a great bonus. Excellent location. Right on the beach. The complex was the perfect size. Nice amenities without being so large that it was crowded. The beach setups were also a bonus.

We had an awesome vacation - the weather was wonderful and the water was clear. The condo accommodations were very good and the location was near all the central areas

The mattresses in the master bedroom and pull out bed absolutely need to be changed out due to the dents worn in them, and don't feel good at all. We lost power and the staff was mostly communicative over what was happening.

We really enjoyed our extended stay at BE. The condo was comfortable and in a great location. It has beautiful views of the ocean. Loved having a table and chairs on the balcony for enjoying meals. The building management is top notch. We had issues with the aging pots and pans and they brought a brand new set immediately and removed the old. The guys work hard taking care of the common areas and are very nice. We have stayed here before and will be back next year!

The unit itself was well thought out with everything we needed from kitchen utensils to fans in the bedrooms. The community area where there’s extra toys or floats for kids was a nice touch. Saved us from having to buy a lot since we were only going to be there for a few days. The rental manager was quick to let us know about an internet/tv outage. Overall, I would stay here again.

This was our family reunion and we have come to Breakers East every year since it was built, except for the year a hurricane insisted we stay home. This complex never disappoints! The folks at Your Assistant at the Beach, were wonderful! Responded to questions/concerns almost instantaneous, kind, courteous and great to deal with. Already reserved for next year. Have rented several different units and this one was definitely one of our favorites.

Always a great experience. This is the 3rd year we have rented from this company at the Breakers East. Always send our reservation info on a timely manner and always accommodate if we need to make any changes. The complex is a smaller building and the units square feet are larger and always well equipped with anything you would need to make your stay more like home. We had plenty of pots, dishes, and above all, plenty of towels. This building is always clean and grounds well kept with just a short walk to the beach. We have been staying at Breakers East several years in the 30 years of traveling to Destin. A favorite for sure!!!

When we arrived the first thing our whole group noticed was a distinct smell that was not a pleasant one. We reached out to rental agent and they supplied an air purifier but we later learned that it wouldn’t solve the ongoing issue. There is an ongoing plumbing issue in the complex that made our unit smell, well let’s just say like sewer..

Beach chair provided (although we couldn’t get front row due to many residents having pre reserved chairs)

Not clean when we got there, sand and food on countertops
Towels and rags in dryer
Leak in master faucet (maintenance handled)
Dryer quit working (handled by maintenance, knob broke, agent allowed us to use next door dryer which helped in a bind)
Smell (were told several condos are having this issue, air purifier provided to help)
One elevator was out the whole time we were there
Umbrellas were taken down the one day we tried to use chairs due to winds (I actually had to catch one umbrella from hitting my son off the front row)


Overall it was a good experience. The few issues put a damper on trying to relax, but I understand that it happens. Agent overseeing the unit was very responsive to our needs , but would not have booked having known the number of issues we would experience.

The beds were comfortable and location of the condo was excellent for kids to run up and down the stairs to go to the beach. There is a musky smell in the condo but other than that, everything was great

Breakers East 206 was as advertised! It had everything we needed, was very clean and well equipped. We would highly recommend it.

We had a great girls week! Had an issue with the ice make and was promptly fixed. Will be staying here again.

This place was PERFECT for our family with small children!! The condo was super spacious and clean!! It had a great view and close access to the beach and pool!! Our stay was so great, we didn’t want to leave! So I contacted the owner to ask for one more day extension and they were so easy, kind, and accommodating to us!! The water was amazing, we saw so many dolphins as well! The instructions were clear. It’s also close to some stores if you needed anything! I would def recommend this place and would love to stay there again!!

This condo is exactly as described and shown in photos. Great location in the heart of Destin, close to anything one would need. We usually stay on Ookalooosa Islsnd, but wanted to try Destin again. Beach isn’t crowded, have reserved beach chairs and umbrella set up daily for you. The beds were the worse part of the stay. Very hard and not good for your back. If it wasn’t for the beds, this condo would have been almost perfect! If it wasn’t for the beds, we would return to this condo again.

The place is updated and clean. The view is spectacular. This our 7th time back to this building - that says it all!
