Breakers East #804

We have stayed at various condos in Destin and this one is at our top of the list to return to. The location, views and amenities were great. The condo was well appointed nice tvs, cable tv, bedding and living room furniture were comfortable and seemed updated. The kitchen was very nice and bathrooms as well. The condo was clean including the floors. The beach set up was included which is a great feature and Pickleball courts are an added bonus. The location is nice because it is central to a lot of places to eat and shop but at back enough that it didn’t seem you were located on a busy road. The pool was also heated who is a must in spring and fall when outside temperatures and ocean are cool. The only complaint is the small number of chairs at the pool as you get a couple of families that hoard it the whole day and leave their belongings there. They are down to one elevator which we were worried would be an issue but everybody was understanding and helpful including the front desk staff and workers so it really wasn’t a big issue.

We have been staying at this same condo, same room for last 4 years . We call it our Happy Place that takes us away from all the stress of life. Each time we come we make the best beach friends and Staff is always so nice ...Just Fabulous!!!!!!

We have been blessed to visit Destin since the mid 80s for spring breaks and the past 7 years as snowbirds with many more to to share with family and friends.

We had a very good vacation. The Rental was clean well-furnished and overall, very comfortable. Had a little trouble getting the TV to operate. Very satisfied and pleased with the unit.

We had a great vacation in Destin staying at Breakers East unit 804. The Condo was as described as well as being beautifully decorated, clean and well stocked. The location was perfect as we had an amazing view from our balcony. The management company was very helpful and we especially enjoyed the umbrella/chair service we received daily on the beach. We had a great week and would recommend this unit to anyone looking for a great stay in Destin!

We were pleasantly impressed with our condo and location. It was everything and more than we expected.
We will definitely come back!

Not happy with the Breakers East in Destin elevator service ! Stuck inside elevator for 25 minutes - only 1 elevator working ! Definitely need to repair or replace elevators !

Spontaneous trip. Property, weather ... everything was perfect. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Simply perfect.

We love staying at Breakers East. We’ve rented various condos and each and every one has a balcony and beautiful direct ocean view. It is definitely a pleasure to stay there. Each one has complete kitchen ware, plenty of towels, etc. a home away from home! We stay at Breakers East twice a year.

We have been staying in 804 for several years. We are always happy with the accommodations. The owners are always making improvements and stock the condo with everything one would need.

We enjoyed our stay at Breakers East Condos. The view is amazing, the condo is clean and well furnished. Loved having the chairs set up for us everyday and the employees are very nice!

The beach/ocean view was amazing. Saw dolphins just about everyday. The only bad review I could give is the cleanliness of the condo itself. The cleaning crew definitely needs to take more time to clean. Especially when you can not check in until 4:00.

Our favorite about this condo is the terrific gulf balcony view with awesome balcony chairs !

We have been staying at the Breakers East for almost 9 years now and we absolutely love it! Carolyn is so easy to work with and makes your stay as easy as possible! The location can not be beat! You are close to everything in town and your view is insane! The amount of beachfront is unbeatable and the staff on the beach is amazing! We are always well taken care of and our kids can’t get enough of the beach snow cones! As far as the actual condo, this is our 3rd time in 804! We love the view from the balcony and the open layout! This condo has been redone and we love being able to walk in and see the water! We will never stay anywhere other than the Breakers when we come to Destin!!

We love Breakers East and renting through Carolyn. Unit 804 was just okay. The living room furniture was very uncomfortable, had to put throw pillows on the sofa just to sit on it. The TV was difficult to figure out in the living room and had a blue tint. However, the beds were very comfy. Unit also needs a new washer, took for ever to do a load on cold water. Will go back to Breakers East as long as they don't keep raising the rates. but would not rent 804 unless the living room furniture and washer are replaced.

Outstanding experience and best condo I have ever stayed in!

Due to the Country pretty much being quarantined this vacation I couldn't think of a better place to spend our 1st week. The beach was not crowed at all and we could distance ourselves. We spent a lot of time in the room and on the beautiful balcony listening to the waves and enjoying the beautiful view. Watching tv, talking, playing games and spending quality time with the kids was a vacation to remember!!! Hopefully we will get to enjoy this condo again when the world returns to normal.

We had a great time !!! Condo kitchen(built-in ice maker was great, keurig and drip coffee makers were nice amenity),bedrooms were very nice. Living room furniture needs updated,uncomfortable. Showers need more water pressure and larger water heater. Could use an instruction manual for living room tv.The manager(Carolyn) was exceptional.

We decided to take a spontaneous weekend trip to Destin, the condo I found online was not available, but the manager found this one for us and it was great! The place is clean, kitchen is really well equipped with pots, pans, utensils, coffee makers. The dishwasher wouldn’t work but it didn’t bother us and we let them know about it so I’m sure it’s fixed. The showers were good and powerful, water heater is a tick small, I imagine you can’t ask for much more in a condo situation. The decor was up to date and tastefully done, furniture is comfortable. We would stay again.

Such an easy check in - our condo was clean and set up to our liking ! This condo is very well furnished to meet all our needs ! And so roomy to have our family have Thanksgiving dinner with us !

We love the Breakers! Carolyn is so helpful and the condo location is the best! We love walking right out to the beach and being minutes away from our favorite restaurants!

This is our 2nd year vacationing in Destin and our 2nd yr staying at Breakers East. We love everything about it. The size,the rooms and especially the view. Thank u so much to Carolyn and the owners of 804 for another awesome family vacation in Destin. Can’t wait to go back next yr.

We have been staying at Breakers East for 38 years! We love that it is a low rise complex with one row of umbrellas! Love 804 and 805 with the connecting door. Great for our growing family!!

Fantastic location, beach and condo. If I had to pick one thing to improve on it would be a softer bed.

We enjoyed our winter stay in condo 804 at the Breakers East because of it’s square footage and large balcony. This was our 3rd year of staying in this same condo, so that tells you how nice it is! As a renter, we love having Carolyn Bobbitt a phone call away - as she takes excellent care of any of our condo needs immediately! Thank you to condo 804 owners for allowing us to enjoy your lovely home away from home !!

Our winter stay in condo 804 has been a delight ! Besides the really nice size of the unit - the huge balcony and balcony furniture are awesome .... Renting from ‘your assistant at the beach’ is a definite plus !! Many thanks to this condo’s owners for the privilege of letting us have their condo as our home away from home for the winter !

Upon our arrival on December 1st our condo 804 was clean and had all the necessities to begin our stay. We noticed that you added a new chair and lamp in the master bedroom - very nice! Also your master bedroom mattress is great! Of course, Carolyn is always 'Johnny on the spot" when we have needed her! We so appreciate that the owner of 804 has allowed us to stay through the winter months ...

We had a great vacation and loved the condo and the view ! The only complaint I had was the there were only 2 elevators for the whole building. One of them was broken the entire time we were there. I don’t blame the owner of the condo for this because I know they have no control over something like that. Other than that small inconvenience our trip was amazing!! We especially loved the beach and the fact that 2 beach chairs and umbrella were included in our stay was a bonus❤️ We’ll definitely book again!!

Loved the Condo! Very Roomy and larger than most 2 bedroom condos in the area. My only concern was the railing on the back deck. It was so low and I was scared when the kids were outside. I definitely would be afraid to let the kids get too close.. There also was still sand inside condo and outside on deck that had not been cleaned.

I cannot say enough good things about this condo! Great location, kitchen was stocked beyond expectations, nicely furnished, very comfortable beds, amazing views from the balcony- and yes, we saw dolphins while having our morning coffee! - loved the convenience of the pool down below just steps from the beach. Cant wait for our next opportunity to stay at Breakers East #804 again!

Updated condo, very clean, few steps down to beach, and Carolyn is GREAT to work with. Love staying in BREAKERS EAST 804!

This beautiful condo offers everything you could want in a home away from home feel. It is in a great location, has the most amazing views off of a 30 foot balcony that spans the length of the condo and the rooms are spacious and comfortable with very nice decor. The kitchen has everything you can want if you plan to cook which we enjoyed doing while staring at the ocean from the kitchen. The amenities and staff are all exceptional at Breakers East and we loved the addition of having beach chairs and an umbrella as part of the rental. We have stayed in many places in Destin over the years and this will now be our "go to" rental from now on.

We certainly have enjoyed our winter stay here in this condo! And we have requested that Carolyn book us again in 804 for the winter months of 2019 - as we especially like it's balcony furniture and firm mattresses. This condo is beautifully furnished and it was very clean upon our arrival.....

The pictures that are listed for this Home do not do it justice. It was better than we could have ever imagined! There was so much room for my husband and I, and our six friends. The view of the beach was breathtaking and we even saw dolphins in the morning. It was very clean and had everything you could ever need. If we ever make our way back down to Destin this will definitely be our go-to place!

Looked exactly like the pictures. Carolyn was fabulous and made it all very easy. We will be back. It was our best trip to Destin so far. Clean. Great location. Stress free vacation.

Unit was well sticked with everything you could possibly need... beach was amazing and the location of everything was great!! We have 3 young children and it was great! The pool I believe was heated and was the perfect temperature even at night! Owner was easy to get ahold of, very nice and obviously cares about the tenants! We will definetly be back!!!

We were nervous about this vacation due to Irma making landfall while we were in Florida. It rained a tiny bit and the condo was a perfect haven from the rain. The condo was very clean and nicely updated. We loved the layout of the condo and how much space it offered. It's right on the beach so coffee and breakfast on the patio each morning was a must. We saw dolphins every morning! The location was great and the beach was clean and not overcrowded like many huge condos. The rental company was easy to work with and got right back to us when we had any questions. I would have no reservations about recommending this condo.

We rented units 804 & 805, they have a door that opens between them. We had a large group and this worked great. Clean well supplied, on the beach. Perfect vacation.

I've been staying at Breaker East for over 30 years. This unit is my favorite. I've stayed in this unit for the past 6 or 7 years. It is well kept and the owners are constantly making upgrades.

It was a beautiful condo and we had an amazing time. It was a girls trip and definitely lived up to our expectations!!

Great Condo. We have stayed at Breakers East several years. This condo was as seen, had everything we needed. Very spacious, well furnished.

We had a wonderful stay. It was just my husband and myself so accommodations were very spacious. Check in and out was extremely easy. Loved the extremely large balcony. Plenty of linens. Kitchen was well equipped with exception of too small of a skillet (we just picked one up at walmart). We would suggest getting a 12" frying pan especially since unit can sleep 6 or 7 easily. We also picked up a couple candles due to an odor that we just couldn't put find the source of that came on about day 2. That worked fine. The master bed slept great the first night, but on the second night, the middle supports came out causing bed to sag in the middle (the wood is stripped out where the screws hold supports in place). Awoke with a terrible backache. Once supports were placed back where they belonged, bed very comfortable. This needs to be repaired. Pedestals on footboard of bed are also loose and will fall over. Just not very aesthetic. We didn't call, just took care of the minor issues ourselves. I do not want to sound like a complainer. As I said before, we had an amazing stay and will absolutely stay again. Thank you for a great vacation. Oh yeah, and the ice maker was an unexpected plus!!

The condo was beautifully appointed and in a central location. The only thing that would have made the stay better is if the weather would have been warmer. I would recommend this unit wholeheartedly!!

Carolyn does a great job. Everything was perfect from start to finish. Weather was even better than many other years. Hated to leave.

This could not have been better from booking to our wonderful stay. Very well equipped kitchen, plenty of linens, very large condo. Beautiful sunrises, sunsets, and lots of dolphins.
