Breakers East #401

First time to travel with my mother & two sisters as adults. We needed to be together, to relax & to enjoy time away. When planning, I immediately knew to stay at Breakers East. This was my 4th time visiting there. It is beautiful & comfortable & conveniently located. The rental team is always wonderful to deal with.

Breakers East was once again exactly what we needed for our short stay.
The unit 401 was exceptional. It had everything you need including a beach setup. Great views of the gulf and beautiful weather.
The only negative point I have to bring up was that one elevator was closed for renovation and was very inconvenient..

This is our 3rd year in that condo!!! It is amazing the minute u book the condo. The minute u step in room you don’t want to leave. Your day at the beach is just as nice!!!

Came in late June and we had perfect weather. Condo is great, well kept and very clean. Destin was not super crowded but even if it were I like this place because it is nowhere near the size of the condos down the beach on each side. Translation - beach is much more peaceful and not crowded at all. Looking left and right of us you could see 4 deep rows of chairs and umbrellas where here there was one single line and a few behind them but not many. Love the fact you get 2 chairs and umbrella that come with the rental. One suggestion - go to beach as soon as you get there and let them know you are there and how long you are there for. They setup put the setup out for you each morning and its out all day for you. Sooner you go, the closer to the boardwalk you are. The only negative about our trip has nothing to do with the condo. That HWY 98 is madness.

We had a great stay in 401 for a week in March 2023. It is an end unit so you have a nice view to the east every morning from the kitchen and living room. The unit was very clean and quite spacious. We had a few cold nights early in the week, so the fireplace was a nice option to have. There was plenty of parking in the secure parking lot. The was never a wait for the elevators. The location was great and central to many restaurants we visited in the area. The kitchen was well appointed with top notch cookware and plenty of dishes and utensils. The bathrooms were also very nice. We really enjoyed the beach set-up and was glad to have that convenience every day. The building itself was in good shape. The heated pool was a nice addition. Communication from the management company regarding door/gate codes, check-in/check-out procedures were quite clear and easy to follow. Overall....this place is a gem. Don't hesitate to rent here.

This place is awesome. The place is very nice and had everything you need, except cleaning products (minus dawn soap and sponges). The view is amazing and having 2 beach chairs and umbrella included is a plus. Walmart and other grocery stores are about 5 minutes away.

The only negative is when you leave the premise you can't make a left turn and you're stuck waiting for people to let you in and trying to U-turn. Obviously no fault of the owners.

We arrived two days before Xmas and stayed till January 2nd. The property was spotless and updated very nicely. Had everything and more that you will need while staying there.

The property was exactly as it was listed. Clean, well stocked, great views, easy to get in and out of, would stay here again!

This condo is very well equipped and nicely decorated. The beds are very comfortable. We loved the shower in the primary bathroom. The balcony is so inviting and the furniture is comfy. We will definitely stay again.

This was a newly renovated ocean front condo! The view was spectacular and the condo was 5star! I would definitely recommend staying in this beautiful condo!

Worth every penny. The views were amazing, spent hours on the balcony enjoying the breeze. Beautiful, well kept, well furnished condo.

The lovely unit was stocked with everything we needed, and more. The walk to the beach was absolutely superb... very, very short! Will definitely return to this unit!

My husband and I had never been to Destin. The white sand and the clear green ocean were amazing. The condo was incredible- beautifully decorated and spacious. The large balcony and the view when you first walk in may be the best feature. We did not want to leave and look forward to coming back!

The condo was amazing with breathtaking Gulf views and high end finishes within.The pictures of the condo did no justice. The gentleman next door was remodeling, but we had no issues with noise. The only downside is this resort did not have a hot tub (near the swimming pool) like most resorts do. Although it wasn’t advertised with one I was a little disappointed bc it’s pretty unusual that a resort doesn’t have one. I would’ve rather seen a hot tub vs a shuffle board.

The condo was as advertised. Nicely appointed, great views. Master bath really nice. Kitchen more than adequate fireplace was interesting
We had a few issues with the building. One of the two elevators was out of service for a part of our stay. More significantly we endured the daily sounds of construction coming from unit next door which was undergoing renovation.
Assuming that project will be completed, we would recommend this unit to others.

I would rate this condo a 4.5 out of 5 stars overall. The property management company did a good job and were attentive and responsive- easy check in and out. The unit was updated, and we enjoyed it. I would not assign a 5-star rating due to more readily achievable cleanliness of the exterior (cobwebs around the elevators) and interior (there was a pair of dirty socks behind one of the couch pillows...indicating the cleanliness of the unit interior was not thorough)

This unit is one of the best vacation rentals we have ever booked. The property is a little worn out my guess is that’s a losing battle with the sand and water, but the condo was updated and had everything you could possibly think of. Will stay here again without a doubt.

Carolyn was the best! You need to book through her as everything gets taken care of. Great management! The unit was totally updated & very comfortable. We were on 4th floor but love the fact that pool is a short walk, heated in winter and you don't have 3-4 rows of beach chairs here.

2nd year staying in this unit, and not our last. I've stayed at many condos in Destin, and this is by far the best! Including cleanliness!!!!

We were very impressed with Breakers East # 401. The condo was beautiful, everything was new and pretty. It had everything we could want in the kitchen, including all the extras. The view was amazing, with a double wide balcony overlooking the beach/gulf.

The only disappointment was in not being able to set up our canopy on the beach. However, we made it work with 2 umbrellas, and one came free with the unit.

We can’t wait to come back again! Would love to stay in the same unit!

Phenomenal

I realize that Breakers East is an older property. Still, the condo was well updated with lots of amenities. The place was clean and spacious while the view from the balcony was spectacular. The grounds are well kept and the staff there is very helpful and friendly. The process from start to finish was organized and simple to follow. We look forward to our next visit!

Loved this unit and facility. Beautiful gas fireplace and roomy, comfortable balcony facing the beach. Beds were comfortable with lots of blankets and pillows. We loved it. Only drawback was tiny bath towels. Would recommend larger, softer bath towels. It was a fantastic stay.

Our condo at Breakers East was awesome. The condo was completely remodeled , everything beautiful. This is our second stay at Breakers East with Your Assistant at the Beach. Carolyn and Erika were great to deal with. I would definitely recommend you check them out!!

Unit was modern and beautiful! Very comfortable beds in both rooms!

The condo was beautifully decorated. All kitchen appliances were new and in perfect order. Kitchen had everything needed to cook a gourmet meal. Everything in the condo was new and super clean, including linens. What is shown in the pictures is exactly what to expect. Would highly recommend. Property conveniently located.

Beautiful condo. Very spacious and convenient layout. Loved all of the recent updates.

The rental was beautiful. However we were there during Hurricane Sally and we were miserable. We had to evacuate.. I have been promised 50% of a refund. Have not heard from anyone yet.

Our vacation rental was absolutely amazing. Very clean and a beautiful unit, not to mention the amazing view. I whole experience with Breakers East was amazing including the communication with whomever does the text communication. We don't think we want to stay elsewhere when visiting Destin!

Absolutely loved this condo! The chic decorating made it feel like home but at the beach! The only downfall was the amount of light streaming in at 6 am for those of us sleeping on the couch bed in the living room. I’d absolutely love to stay here again if some kind of shade was installed! Thanks for a gorgeous trip!

We loved the unit and especially the decor. The kitchen was a little small without the hall wall removed like some other units but it was equipped with anything and everything needed to cook in. Loved the bar and patio furniture.

Only criticism I have is the TV in the Den did not receive the full cable channel line up that the two bedrooms picked up. Notably local channels, ESPN, GOLF, FOX, WEATHER CHANNEL.

Other than that, we enjoyed the unit very much.

We absolutely loved Breakers #401. The condo is breathe taking and like being in a luxury resort and has so much room. My husband and I brought my Mom and our grandson . Everyone from age 6 to 70 had an amazing time. The walk to the beach wasn’t to much for my Mom and our grandson loved the pool. We all enjoyed people watching from the balcony and watching the dolphins that swam by daily.The kitchen had everything we needed to cook family meals . The full size washer and dryer is a great bonus . Location is great , close to all the things from food to fun. Our family highly recommends this condo for a relaxing vacation and making memories to last a lifetime. We hope to book this condo again in the future.
