Breakers East 1106

Loved a 4 night stay here

Pros
a) The condo is at 11th floor farthest for the elevators and quiet.
b) Was nicely spacious for family of 4 with two older kids. They have their own bed room with individual queen beds which they loved
c) The balcony was very spacious with the sea visible from Master bedroom a well as living room. The balcony has access from both rooms. had 2 fans which could be great during summer.
c) The kitchen wa well stacked and we did use them for making brunches. Has two refrigerators which was nice but we did not use the second.
d) Saw little things that the owner thought and I liked it. For example there was a cooler in the balcony which I thought was nice. There were actual standing speaker system in the house for music.
e) Loved the showerhead which was very large and had the feeling of showering in the rain.
f) Had pleanty of towels etc
g) Kids loved the dedicated 2 pickle ball courts and we used it quite a bit.
h) Gated community so was safe.
i) Have board games and cards in the drawyer
j) Location was great.
Cons
a) The TVs are genuinely outdated especially the master and the kid's room.
b) Some lights were not working
c) Sometimes if all the folks go to shower back to back hot water ran out probably because I believe the showerhead was very large, using a lot of water.
d) No gym in the facility again not an issue with the condo.
e) The pool seems to be ot heated so did not see anybody
f) One of elevators are being repaired and will be good by March 24. So have to wait sometimes.
g) The toaster did not work
h) On right side there is a tall building which block last 20 degrees of the 180 degree view from balcony. But having said that the view is great still with 160 degress of unobstructed view from the reallys pacious balcony.

Overall we loved the stay.

We stayed in Breakers East #1106 4 weeks in October - November. This is a great end unit, very clean and nicely decorated. Kitchen is well equipped with everything you need for home cooking, Having washer/drier and 2 refrigerators in the unit a big plus. Cariline and Erica from Your Assistant on the Beach were very helpful and very easy to communicate with, Breakers East is a gated property directly on the beach. Overall, we had great time and looking forward to return.

We totally enjoyed our stay at Breakers East 1106. The condo was roomy and nicely decorated. The beds were comfortable. The was very clean. The condo has everything we needed except food. We especially appreciated the complimentary beach setup. The elevators are in the process of being replaced, the one that worked did overtime.

We were very pleasantly surprised with this condo. It was clean, well decorated and well organized with nice shower upgrades. The customer service was top notch. Saul with the mgmt company was awesome!

This condo is the perfect beach get away. Every room in the condo was very spacious. Loved the private beach access along with covered parking. We will definitely be booking this condo again

This was our first trip to Destin and was very pleased with our stay. Condo was ready to go at the promised time and contactless check-in was very convenient. Unit was freshly cleaned and in great shape. Decor was very cheery! Location directly on the beach was wonderful and view was amazing. We received a welcome text from the property manager welcoming us, but other than that we did not have a need to reach out to them for assistance- the interactions we did have were very professional and accommodating.
A couple things that we noticed
` The bed in the master bedroom was very uncomfortable. If you like a very firm mattress this would work well for you, however it felt very much like sleeping on a plywood board covered with padding. Didnt get much sleep during our stay
` No starter boxes of tissues were in the unit- would have been nice to have some cleaning supplies for kitchen/cooking clean up
` The artwork on the walls behind the beds in the guest room kept falling off while my children were sleeping. We eventually just had to take them down and put them back up when we departed.
` The patio door in the master bedroom was very difficult to open.
` Getting in and out of the complex was difficult due to high traffic and only right hand turns allowed.


Aside from the few minor suggestions above, we were very pleased with the unit. Having the washer and dryer was a godsend, and the second refrigerator came in handy. The included beach chair and umbrella set up was amazing- Overall I would say that we would stay here again, hoping of course for a more comfortable master bed :)

Absolutely gorgeous views and right on the beach! Easy walk right to the beach or pool from the elevator and having included beach umbrella rental was super convenient. Condo was very clean, comfy beds (pillows were a bit flat so might be a good idea to bring your own), plenty of dishware/kitchen items. Condo is located 15-20 mins away from anything and everything you could want or need. Plenty of good food and things to do right along the main highway. Totally recommend!

Overall Condo was good. Bed wasn’t as comfy as some people said, kinda raised in the middle. TV’s, the only smart tv was in the guest bedroom and small so we couldn’t access any of our apps or even stream/mirror our phones to watch any of our usual shows( which we’ve stayed at several other condos here and they all provided smart tvs with most already logged in apps), but the WiFi was great and stayed connected. Erica @ Your Assistant at the beach never disappoints and is always prompt to respond to anything we need!

I loved Breakers East - the gated entries - the smaller complex - the quiet. My condo was everything I needed for a stay at the beach and the decor was whimsical. The beach attendants were very friendly and accomodating. It was one of the most relaxing beach trips I've had...and although Breakers East was an older complex than I normally stay in, it was VERY CLEAN - cleaner than some fancier places I've stayed on the Gulf Coast. Thanks for a great vacation! I will be back!

This condo is awesome! The beds were so comfortable and the balcony was huge! Spectacular view,awesome decor,more than enough room for 4 people. The condo building is very clean and in a perfect location. We would love to come back!

Everything was fantastic!

Wonderful time. Great weather & condo cozy and clean. Can’t wait to come back next year! We didn’t have any issues with the condo. One of my favorite restaurants to eat at was Bric & Brac. We ate there four times.

We love Breakers and tend to choose them every year. Cant beat the location and beach view. Chair service is great because its a smaller building no one gets between our chairs and the water. Our only complaint is the bathroom tubs drain extremely slow so a quick shower will still get water past your ankles before you get out. Even so, we still continue to pick Breakers East over several others in the area.

Excellent! The unit is clean with provided breach towels, toilet papers, hand soap, full kitchen appliances and utensils. Quick response when we have some issues. We would recommend everyone to rent this unit. However, we have small suggestions that the unit should also provide clothes detergent and shower shampoo and conditioner. Overall, we were very happy with this rental unit.

Also I would like to see a person in the office on a daily basis as was the case my first years there. Rental agent was always accessible by phone.

This place was perfect, there were 7 of us and we had plenty of room. I loved being right on the beach! Everything we needed was in the condo and there were stores, restaurants and fun activities nearby. Would definitely stay here again. It was also very clean and the beds were really comfortable, even the sleeper sofa was great.

Loved the condo. Loaded with almost every extra you can imagine. Very clean and easy to check in and out. Loved the covered reserved parking and how easy the beach access was. Umbrella and chairs provided on the beach. Would definitely stay there again!

It was a great vacation!! I actually got engaged this trip! Condo 1106 was a great condo. It had everything we needed for the stay. We will be renting there again.

We were very pleased with our stay at Breakers East. Condo was in great shape. The management team was very easy to work with and provided great check in instructions/information for the stay. Would definitely consider staying again on a return trip.

This is the 2nd time we've stayed at Breaker's East. We liked this condo best as it was more updated (I believe the other one has been since our last stay as well). Everything was clean, views were breathtaking, kind staff, etc. The only thing we didn't like is there was a bachelorette party going on while there so the boys that followed (I don't believe they were staying at this complex), were biligerant drunks, disrespectful and loud. I couldn't enjoy the beach the 2 times I was on it because they were beside our chairs using profanity in every sentence, very loud and distasteful. I'm all for people having a good time in whatever way they'd like, but this was a bit excessive. The covered parking space was a bonus since it rained/stormed one of the evenings while there. I'd definitely go back and highly recommend staying here.

Spacious rooms and everything neat and clean. We have enjoyed this unit for several years now and have been very happy with our stay each time.

This was such an awesome vacation! Everything was just perfect! We arrived to our condo smelling like bleach. It was immaculate!! We had everything we needed plus more. It was better than the pictures which were wonderful! We needed pillow cases and sheets one night and after a quick text to Carolyn we had them almost immediately! I also loved that we didn’t need a key for the condo or beach. Everything was a code for a keypad. We love love loved our stay here and will definitely we returning.

We really loved the condo! The are thankful that we got to get in a little earlier than expected. My brother in law has Parkinson’s and we arrived earlier than expected. But we were allowed in. Thank you.

This rental is fantastic. There was plenty of room. Loved the bathtubs! They have 2 refrigerators and an ice machine! Furniture is comfortable. Beach towels, binoculars, balcony furniture wonderful! The view was great. We watched dolphins every day. Nice pool. Great beach access! I will definitely stay here again! Thanks so much!

Beautiful condo, fantastic view, super clean, kitchen well stocked, everything required to prepare Thanksgiving meal. End unit no traffic by door quiet and peaceful. Loved reserved parking space, ice machine and extra frig, binoculars to watch the boats and whales, beautiful beach with chairs. Carolyn provided wonderful service. A -4- month stay wish it was longer!

The condo was very clean and super inviting. The balcony was large and had a beautiful view. It was wonderful to have 2 refrigerators and a separate ice maker. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you might need. There were plenty of towels and even beach towels. We loved the fact that there was a covered parking spot.

We enjoyed our stay at Breakers East as always. The unit was clean and had everything we needed. My husband especially enjoyed having the extra refrigerator and freezer in the laundry room. We plan to come back next summer and hopefully our great grand babies can join us with their mom and dad. We have been making Breakers East our vacation home for over 20 years and it has become a family tradition. We always meet up with other people staying there who return each year at the same time. We wouldn't want to stay anywhere else.

We had the best time! The views were incredible! We could even see dolphins jumping and playing. I would highly recommend this place for your next family vacation!!!!

This rental was spectacular. It was super clean and right on the beach. The views were great from the family room, from the porch and from the master bedroom. Being on the 11th floor was great for views but could have been an issue with elevator waits - but that was never an issue. Also, the rental had a give and share box right before entering the beach. It was great to have a boogie board, or flippers, or sand toys to use and not mess with bringing them with us. Wonderful experience for sure!

The condo that we rented at Breaker’s East was wonderful. It was newly renovated and had all the comforts of home. The condo was an end unit which allowed extra sunlight. The patio was large with direct ocean views. We could see for miles. We enjoyed the rain head showers in the bathrooms after spending the day on the beach. The condo also comes with a beach umbrella and two chairs that were set up each morning and we spent all day enjoying. I will definitely be booking this unit again.

We had a wonderful time at Breaker's East. We have been going there over 17 years and love it. The condo 1106 was great and we plan to return next year. The staff is great and the family environment is fantastic.

We stay at Breakers East every summer. This unit is beautifully decorated and has very nice amenities. We loved the extra fridge and ice maker. Management company is punctual and willing to help with any needs that arise with condo. It’s a home away from home!

Great condo with amazing views. Condo has apparently been updated recently because everything was in terrific shape. Building was very nice and the beach was outstanding. Had one maintenance issue due to a storm that blew through the area during our stay and the management addressed it immediately.

The king size bed was very comfortable. The kids said that the sheets on the full size beds could've been softer; otherwise, they loved their room. The manager responded to my texts immediately. We really enjoyed Fudpuckers, sunsets at HarborWalk Village, Gulfarium Marine Adventure Park (especially snorkeling with the stingrays), and parasailing with Just Chute Me Parasailing.

This was a lovely condo. The condo was furnished with many amenities not found in other condos. The location was superb.The only negatives were we weren't fond of the showers and the rugs in the kitchen weren't secure.
We would certainly stay there again. Thank you for sharing this condo.

Stayed in 1106 with an ocean front view. Such a relaxing experience and a nicely appointed unit. Well maintained. Step over tub a little high for over 65 ages but manageable with care. Overall would stay again!

Unfortunately, the storm messed up the beach and we had one day of red tide. But the condo was comfortable and everything worked. The kitchen had every tool and pot that we needed.the condo was clean.

We loved this condo. The location was great and it had beautiful views. The smaller sized building was nice and quiet. The included chairs/umbrella were convenient. The condo was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped.

This unit has nice furnishings unfortunately the carpet in both bedrooms its showing stains and the ac unit creates a heavy smell.
Please upgrade the flooring and paint both bedrooms.
Hvac unit needs some maintenance or maybe ducts need to be cleaned because the smell is pretty bad.

This is the second time we have stayed at these condos. This unit was extremely clean and comfortable. We didn't have any issues! The view is AWESOME! I loved it so much I booked again for the next year. Beds are comfortable! The location is great for everything you want to do in Destin!

I have not ONE complaint. This Condo was Clean, Spacious, and Neat with Beautiful Decor. Being on the beach was a plus. My family and I enjoyed it and plan on booking this room for our next trip to Destin. The manager is extremely sweet and answered any inquiry that I had in a timely manner. I look forward to booking with her again.

The beds were super comfortable, plenty of seating for all of us, more than spacious enough for all of our belongings as well as a great balcony setup. Having the extra fridge was incredibly nice. The ice maker didn't produce very much ice, but we made due. We have already booked this unit for next year's trip. Highly recommend.
